Intelligent Respond Selangor (known as iDRS) first Go-Live on 31st July 2017 to assist many stakeholders in Selangor State such as Local Authorities (through Engineering Department) and Public Work Department Selangor (JKR) to better respond and manage the road maintenance within Selangor State. As part of enhancement, Smart Selangor Delivery Unit (SSDU) enhanced the current capability to enable iRS assist other stakeholders in Selangor State such as State Disaster Management Unit (“Unit Pengurusan Bencana Negeri”), Local Authorities (through Squad PANTAS) and District/Land Offices to better respond to flood and road incident reports. This enhancement enable the automation of end-to-end processes start from data ingestion processes, flood and road incident reports, manage planning, facilitate and monitor operations. The road incident reports shall provide an information to stakeholders in order to consider the consequences of road incident (such as major crash) during deployment of resources and equipment for flood victims.

Objectives:

To provide a common platform (open-standard) which is accessible online via common web browsers and mobile device platform by stakeholders to report, facilitate and monitor flood and road incident;
To automate and enable data ingestion processes making it more effective and efficient;
To ensure important information captured are stored systematically and securely; and
To have a consolidate report of flood and road incidents data in Selangor for analysis.
